I can’t think of anything more indulging than having a setup where you can game to your heart’s desire, write your brains out, or work before play. That’s what I’ve done here!

For as long as I can remember, I never had a personal space where I could simply let loose to dive into an mmorpg without interruption or write without being told to transition over to my laptop. Sure I’ve had desks in my room, but nothing quite like this. I used to share a room with my brother, and let’s say that fighting for time on the computer had become a hobby.

When I first set out on writing A Story of Gylranor I still lived in the same room as my little brother. And, oh boy, was that a joy…Now fast forward to 12 years later, I think I finally have my ultimate setup.

Feeling like saving Tamriel? BAM! - load up The Elder Scrolls.

Being one with my thoughts for a writing project? BAM! - open Word.

Itching to shiny hunt? BAM! - turn on my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and dive right into Paldea, a region in the Pokémon universe.

All this, and more, without having to change rooms. Now all in within an arm’s reach while I chat with my little astromech droid. Long live the Workspace Gaming Corner!
